Their Heartbeat, Our Hope: The National Campaign to Eliminate Neonatal and Preterm Infant Mortality

“Their Heartbeat, Our Hope” is a national campaign dedicated to combating neonatal and premature infant mortality in Iraq. The initiative aims to address the critical shortage of neonatal incubators in healthcare facilities by providing life-saving equipment essential for the survival and healthy development of preterm infants. Incubators play a vital role in ensuring a stable and protected environment for newborns who are most vulnerable. The campaign targets a significant reduction in neonatal mortality across all Iraqi provinces by initially delivering 1,000 incubators over the course of one year.
